Life as a thrift shop

15:00

This week I learnt something. Life is like a thrift shop.

In a thrift shop there are many many options to make an outfit. Sometimes you'll walk into the shop and find numerous items to purchase and take home, other times you'll come and find nothing that will suit your style and leave empty handed. No customer can come in and leave with the same things as another and everyday there is a different choice of clothing to choose from. The main thing is that every item in the shop will eventually find it's home.

I feel like life is a lot like that. You come into this world and you have choices to make. No one can make the same choices. Some people will decided to make choices that will better them and other won't. However everyday you're going to come back to the thrift store of life to make more choices. Your attitude will also contribute to what you end up choosing. If life is a thrift shop and you go in feeling happy about the possibility of getting something - chances are you'll be able to find a way to make a item fit in with your style. Alternatively if you go in with a bad attitude then most likely you'll turn your nose up at everything and leave with nothing.

Ultimately going in with a good attitude will almost guarantee you leave with something. On the downside that you don't find anything, you'll leave with a good experience and will look forward to the next day.

Let me know what you think. Is life really like a thrift shop?

Love you all
